***UPDATE:  If you live outside the USA, don’t bother ordering the print book from – the shipping is $135 Smile

That’s a legit price from FedEx.  I had no idea folks.  Doesn’t make much sense to even list it as an option really.

So if you live outside the US, buy the eBook from MrExcel or go to Amazon I guess.

Why Do I Get Free Stuff From MrExcel?

I was surprised too, over the past few weeks, to watch this shape up.  There are fundamentally two reasons:  lower costs, and less greed.  Bill is both a publisher and an author, AND he operates his own web store.  There just aren’t many “middlemen” involved here, and that keeps prices down dramatically.

Oh, and Bill isn’t out to conquer the world like some people, heh heh.

So yeah:  same or lower price to you, plus free stuff (reference card, cross-platform eBook).

As an added bonus, I get more money per copy sold through MrExcel than through other outlets.  All in all, it’s like buying from local farmers rather than from some massive consortium Smile

“What About My Amazon Pre-Order?”

WHEN:  We don’t have visibility into when Amazon will start shipping.  Should just be a few more days at this point, but hard to know for certain.

REFERENCE CARD:  Back in September, we didn’t have the reference card idea yet.  And I certainly appreciate everyone’s pre-orders.  So if you pre-ordered the book and would like the PDF version of the reference card, drop me a note and I’ll send it over.

One Final, Novel Way to Get the Book

If you live in Northeast Ohio, we can arrange to meet in person and I’ll sell you one from my own private stash.  We’ll meet in a dark parking lot and make it feel like a drug deal.  Or a Starbucks in the middle of the day.

I’ll autograph the book too if you want.  It will forever be the least famous autograph in your collection, hands down Smile

    1. Whoa, apparently that’s the price for shipping to non-US customers, and it’s legit. If you live outside the US, do NOT order the print book from MrExcel – either get the eBook or go somewhere else for the print book. Wow, sorry everyone, I had no clue.

  1. I’m still in shock from seeing the shipping costs for the paper version. I opted for the e-book instead. 😉

Liking what I’ve read so far.

  3. Hi Rob,
Got the book from Mr Excel yesterday, and half way throught reading it. Should be able to finish today. Great book, written from a different angle than Marco and Albert’s book. It’s the first book written by Excel Pro who was a member of Powerpivot development team.
