Joe started his career in accounting and began learning VBA, Excel, and Access when VBA was introduced in 1994. He transitioned to doing it as a career after joining the tax technology practice of a Big 4 accounting firm. His current position is in the tax modeling group of a large insurance company.
Joe became interested in PowerPivot and DAX when Excel 2010 was released and later developed an interest in Power BI.
In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and eating Korean food.
