53 People Showed Up for My Full-Day Pre-Conference Session on Power Pivot
(Definitely the Largest Class I Have Ever Taught)

I know, it’s nearly 2:00 Wednesday morning, Eastern time, as I write this.

But on the West Coast, hey, it IS still technically Tuesday, so this post isn’t really that late.  Heh heh.

As usual, I burned a lot of psychic energy teaching the class today, leaving me pretty drained at day’s end.  But wow, totally worth it – which is why, every time, I throw myself into it completely.  And wind up totally zonked that evening.

I get to get up tomorrow and do it again, albeit this time in a 1-hour session.  And then another Friday with Mike.

In other news, Kasper’s book is real!

Two Books Make it a Series!  With Alchemy on the Way Shortly.

What a pleasant surprise to have Kasper walk up to me and hand me a shiny new copy of his book today!

I haven’t had a chance to review it, at all, yet.  But a quick glance shows me that he took the “personal/informal” approach rather than the super-dry tech book approach.  People have really seemed to appreciate that about my book, so I think that bodes well for this one.

Stay tuned for a review once I’ve had time to digest.  In the meantime you can order it on Amazon if you prefer not to wait.

And yes, Alchemy IS on its way.  Looks like it is going to be printed and bound this weekend:

Alchemy Goes to the Print Machines This Sunday Night!

It has been a VERY busy year.

  1. Should have been 54….
I did learn a lot at the PDW class though. I will be at both your other sessions though. To bad your Pre-Con session isn’t included in the recording USB for PASS BACON.

I’m sure it was amazing, heard a lot of talk about PowerPivot from some people coming out of your class. 🙂

  2. Good day, is there an ebook already for “Dashboarding and Reporting for Powerpivot and Excel by Kasper de Jonge? I’d like to avail it. So far, I got Rob C. book already thru PowerPivot school. 🙂
